Comic Market 108 takes place over two days, but Day 1 and Day 2 are not interchangeable. The participating circles and genre placements change completely from one day to the next.
The practical question is not which day is “better.” It is which day has the circles, genres, or corporate activities you want to see.

Comic Market 108 will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on:

Circle spaces are scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days. The Corporate Area is scheduled until 5:00 p.m. on Day 1 and 4:00 p.m. on Day 2.
Admission is sold separately for each date. There is no two-day ticket or wristband, so choose your attendance date before purchasing admission.

Day 1 may look like the obvious choice for game fans, but “games” are divided into several placement categories. Touhou Project, doujin software, and dating sims are among the categories placed on Day 2.

Day 2 includes many original works, critiques and information circles, doujin software, and works aimed at male audiences.

In the genre table, “cosplay” refers to circles distributing cosplay photo books and related works. It is not the same as a cosplay area where attendees gather or take photographs.
East Halls 4 through 6 are unavailable for C108 because of construction work. Circle spaces are located in East Halls 1–3 and 7, West Halls 1–2, and South Halls 1–2.
How to Confirm a Circle’s Attendance Day
The genre tables are useful for a quick comparison, but they are not a substitute for checking the circle itself.

- Check whether the creator is participating through another circle name

You Want to Browse a Favorite Genre
Compare the Day 1 and Day 2 tables, then choose the day with more categories that genuinely interest you.
Add one or two backup genres rather than building a long list of distant halls. This gives you another option if your first-choice circle sells out or your schedule changes.
Corporate Booths Are Your Main Goal
The Corporate Area is in West Halls 3–4 and South Halls 3–4 on both days. Day 1 remains open one hour later, until 5:00 p.m.
Do not assume that a company’s sales, giveaways, stage events, guests, lotteries, or numbered-entry procedures are identical on both days. Check the company’s own C108 page or official social account for:
- Day-specific sales or distribution schedules
- Purchase limits
- Lotteries, timed entry, or numbered queue tickets
- Stage times and guest appearances

You Mainly Want to See Cosplay
Official cosplay areas include East Hall 8, the Gardens, the Rooftop Exhibition Area in the afternoon, and the area outside East Hall 7 in the afternoon. Opening times and access can change because of entry lines, congestion, or weather.

Attending both days gives you access to both genre lineups, but it also means two separate admission products and two demanding summer event days.
