Comic Market 108 is not a free-entry event. Most general attendees need a valid ticket or wristband for the correct day before entering Tokyo Big Sight on August 15 or 16, 2026. A limited exception applies to children age 15 or younger who enter with an adult holding valid admission.
The most important choice for most international visitors is AM Entry or PM Entry. You also need to know whether you will receive a physical wristband when you buy it or must exchange an e-ticket after arriving.

Which C108 Admission Option Should You Choose?
AM Entry
AM Entry begins after 11:00, following Early Entry. It is the practical choice if you have a specific circle, item, or morning plan that matters enough to justify arriving earlier. It does not place you ahead of Early Entry holders, and an AM e-ticket does not put you at the front of the AM line.
A physical AM wristband is simpler on the day because you can put it on before joining the waiting line. The eplus AM e-ticket is intended for international participants residing outside Japan who cannot buy a physical wristband in advance. Check the current eplus eligibility terms before purchasing. The e-ticket must be exchanged for a physical wristband on-site before you can join the AM waiting line.
PM Entry
PM Entry begins after 12:30. It can suit visitors who want to see the event without committing to the main morning wait. You will have less time inside, and popular items may already be unavailable. An advance PM wristband costs less than buying one at the venue.
Buy a PM wristband before the event if possible. Same-day wristbands are planned at the venue, but they cost more and the official notice warns of a significant line. Neither advance nor same-day availability should be treated as guaranteed.
Early Entry and Cosplay Changing Room Early Entry
These were lottery products sold through TicketPay, and applications closed on July 6. Lottery winners must complete payment and print their paper ticket at a FamilyMart before attending. The official English guide recommends issuing the ticket no later than the day before the event.
Early Entry starts at 10:30. Cosplay Changing Room Early Entry uses an 8:00 or 9:30 changing-room slot. After changing, participants wait in the Garden Cosplay Area and begin moving to the halls at about 11:00. This section is included only for existing winners because the paper-ticket and ID rules differ from ordinary AM and PM wristbands.
C108 Ticket Types and Current Prices
Early Entry Ticket
The price is 5,000 yen plus a 385-yen system fee. Entry starts after 10:30. The ticket was sold by lottery for either the East or South/West entrance, and new applications are closed. Only the named winner can use it.
Cosplay Changing Room Early Entry Ticket
The price is 3,000 yen plus a 385-yen system fee and includes the cosplay registration fee. It was sold by lottery for a specific changing-room slot. New applications are closed.
AM Entry Wristband or E-Ticket
A physical wristband costs 1,210 yen at participating stores. The eplus e-ticket costs 1,331 yen, including its system fee. Entry starts after 11:00. Store stock and the number of e-tickets are limited, and a sold-out location may not receive more stock.
PM Entry Wristband
A PM wristband costs 440 yen at participating stores. Planned same-day venue sales cost 1,000 yen and begin around 12:30 at the Entrance Plaza. Entry begins after 12:30. Individual stores can sell out even though the total PM allocation is larger than the AM allocation.
How International Visitors Can Buy AM Entry
Physical AM wristbands are sold through participating Animate, Toranoana, and Melonbooks locations and online stores in Japan. The newer Japanese notice also lists overseas sales through selected Animate locations in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and the United States, plus listed Taipei locations for Toranoana and Melonbooks. Availability and timing depend on the store, so check the seller rather than assuming every branch carries C108 wristbands.
If you cannot obtain a physical wristband, the official English page directs international participants to the eplus international ticket site. The AM e-ticket can be purchased by credit card while the limited allocation remains available.
The e-ticket is not the admission wristband. On the event day, exchange its QR code for a physical wristband near the Rinkai Line station after 8:00. Put on the wristband before joining the designated AM waiting line. Exchange capacity is limited, and the official instructions state that this process will not place you at the front of the AM queue.
The official page recommends arriving later rather than extremely early because a very early arrival can mean hours of waiting. If you arrive after 12:30 with an AM e-ticket, follow the current instruction to use the Entrance Plaza exchange point. Save the latest information map before leaving, because exact operational locations can change.
How to Buy PM Entry
Buy a physical PM wristband in advance from a participating store or its online shop if one is available for your day. The advance price is 440 yen, and the wristband does not need to be exchanged at the venue. Put it on before reaching the entrance.
Same-day PM wristband sales are scheduled at the Entrance Plaza starting at 12:30 for 1,000 yen. Long lines are expected, so check the latest official notice before relying on this option. Buying in advance is less expensive and more predictable.
Tickets Are Separate for Each Day
C108 takes place on Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, 2026. A wristband or ticket is valid only for its printed day. Wristband colors also differ by day.
If you plan to attend both days, buy one valid admission product for August 15 and another for August 16. There is no combined two-day ticket. Check the date before payment and again when the item arrives or appears in your account. Purchasing the wrong day is not a reason for a refund or exchange.
One child age 15 or younger may enter without a separate ticket or wristband when entering together with one adult who has valid admission. They must arrive together and obtain an additional wristband for the child at the gate. A child entering without an accompanying adult needs their own ticket or wristband.
ID, Names, and Resale Rules
The name and ID rules apply to named Early Entry and Cosplay Changing Room Early Entry tickets. The ticket name must match the attendee. Bring an original passport or an original photo ID issued by a Japanese public authority; copies, scans, and phone photos are not accepted.
The English ticket page says foreign driver’s licenses and student IDs are not accepted. A Japanese FAQ updated on July 27 says an original photo student ID may be accepted when the attendee has not been issued the requested government photo ID. Because the two pages use different wording, international visitors should bring an original passport whenever possible.
Do not use a family member’s name when buying a named ticket. The English FAQ says admission may be possible when the purchaser and attendee can prove that they are family members living together, but this is a limited exception and should not be treated as a general name-change policy.
Ordinary AM and PM store wristbands are not personalized in the same way, but resale is still prohibited. Resold tickets and wristbands are invalid. Buying through an unofficial reseller can leave you unable to enter and without a refund.
How Entry Works on the Day
Early Entry winner: Issue the paper ticket at a FamilyMart in advance. Bring the paper ticket and matching original ID to the entrance printed on the ticket between 8:00 and 10:00. Staff exchange the ticket for a wristband, and entry starts after 10:30.
Physical AM wristband holder: Put the correct day’s wristband on before approaching the venue. Join the East or West waiting line shown in the current instructions. AM entry starts after 11:00.
AM e-ticket holder: Show the eplus QR code at the designated exchange point near the Rinkai Line station after 8:00, receive and wear the physical wristband, and then join the appropriate waiting line. You cannot enter the waiting line with only the QR code.
Advance PM wristband holder: Wear the wristband and follow the current Entrance Plaza directions for entry after 12:30. No exchange is required for a physical store wristband.
Same-day PM buyer: Go to the announced sales area at the Entrance Plaza after sales begin, purchase and wear the wristband, and follow staff instructions. Allow time for the separate purchase line. The sale does not create earlier entry than the PM opening time.
Common Problems and What to Do
You are late: The official FAQ says late Early or AM holders can still enter, but an Early Entry holder may be directed to the AM line once the Early line is preparing to move. Follow staff instructions rather than expecting the original position.
You did not issue the Early Entry paper ticket: Issue it at FamilyMart before going to Comiket. If you arrive without the paper ticket, the organizers say they cannot help. FamilyMart locations near Tokyo Big Sight may run out of the required ticket paper, so do not wait until arrival. You forgot the ticket or wristband: You need the actual item. The FAQ says the remaining option may be to buy a same-day PM wristband and enter in the afternoon, subject to that sale’s operation and availability.
It is lost or damaged: A lost paper ticket or store-purchased wristband is not reissued. If a paper ticket is damaged, bring all remaining pieces so staff can try to verify it. If a store-purchased wristband is damaged, bring it with you; the C108 wristband notice says a damaged wristband can still be used. For a wristband received at an exchange desk, ask that desk for current assistance.
The name is wrong: Bring the correct original ID and any relevant proof, but expect the ticket to be rejected if the user does not match the named purchaser. Do not buy another person’s named ticket.
Your preferred product is sold out: Check another official participating seller or the official eplus option for AM. For PM, check advance sellers and the latest same-day notice. “Sold out at one store” and “all official allocations ended” are not the same claim.
You bought the wrong day or changed plans: There is no two-day pass, and paid tickets and wristbands are not refundable. Confirm the day before purchasing.
